Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your MozakAI / MedVault account and what happens to your data.
How do I delete my account and associated data?
You can delete your account directly inside the MedVault app.
Steps
- Open MedVault
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm the deletion
Account deletion is processed immediately.
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by email:
- Email: support@mozakai.com
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Please include the email address used for your MedVault account.
What data is deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is deleted:
Server-side data
- Your user account and authentication data (e.g. email address, identifiers)
- Associated profile metadata (e.g. date of birth, gender)
On-device data
- All medical records, structured entries, and history stored locally on your device
- All uploaded files (e.g. PDFs, images) stored locally on your device
OCR and temporary processing
If you use OCR or document extraction features:
- Uploaded documents are processed temporarily
- Raw files and extracted data are not stored long-term on the server
- Data is discarded after the processing task is completed
What data may be retained?
We may retain limited data only where required for legal, security, or operational purposes, such as:
- Billing and payment records (if applicable), retained for the period required by law
- Security and abuse-prevention logs, retained for a limited time
These records do not contain your medical data.
How long does deletion take?
Account deletion is processed immediately. Any legally required retained records are automatically deleted after the applicable retention period.
Is MedVault intended for children?
No. MedVault is intended for adults (18+) and is not designed for use by children.
